Key facts

• On Cincinnati City Council since December 2022; also serves on the Cincinnati Retirement System Board of Trustees. Native of St. Joseph, Michigan; came to Cincinnati in 2009 for Xavier University, where he was elected Student Body President.
• Career in community development: founding Executive Director of the Sedamsville CDC, then Executive Director of the College Hill Urban Redevelopment Corporation, where he "secured $85 million in economic development funding." Founded the Cincy Soccer League.
• First Democrat into the race (announced January 2026) and the party's nominee. Runs on transparency in how Ohio manages "more than $250 billion" of investments, pension funds, and revenue.
